The e-Documents Division of Morpho in the heart of Russia's "Silicon Valley"
February 1996 saw the creation of "ORGA Zelenograd Smart Card and Systems." Zelenograd, known as Russia's Silicon Valley, is situated about 45 minutes by car northwest of Moscow's city center. There is a close technological affiliation with the local university.

Smart cards for the telecommunications and health & ID sectors are manufactured using the most up-to-date production facilities on a total area of 2,300 m². The production portfolio is split 65% for telco projects and 35% for health & ID projects. In addition to the production stages of implantation, initialization and personalization, we also offer direct mail and fulfillment services.

An additional revenue generator was created with the addition in 2005 of bank card and DIC/CLC products. To cope with this, an expansion in output is planned, involving the construction of an additional 2000 m² building.

Another key feature of the Zelenograd location is the global development center. This is developping new products both for the Russian market and, under the direction of the development center in Paderborn, for the global market as well.

In accordance with international security requirements, the location is certified in accordance with Visa and MasterCard logical security standards, among others.

In order to be able to guarantee its customers consistently high quality products, the DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2000 quality management system was installed and certified by the DQS.
